Californian Stimulus Check Update: Find Out The Eligibility Criteria for $1000 worth Program

The federal government of the United States of America has already stopped giving additional stimulus checks to the citizens. As a result, several US states have come forward to ensure stimulus checks for their residents that will keep them afloat in this time of inflation and employment crisis. 

California is such a state that has started a Guaranteed Income Program through which they are offering stimulus checks worth a whopping $1000 to eligible Californians. This program is largely implemented in the County area of Los Angeles. 

Guaranteed Stimulus Check For Californians 

Californian government has taken the initiative to provide financial assistance to the residents so they may be able to purchase basic essentials including food, gas, and medicines, and pay their rent. There are numerous Americans who have become homeless owing to the difficult economic times. To counter this financial crisis, many American state governments are offering help to eligible people by giving continuous stimulus payments so they can recover from the rampages of COVID-19. 

LA County has informed that to avail of the Program of Guaranteed Income, they must be between 21 to 24 years of age as of 1st September 2023. 

Eligibility Criteria For Guaranteed Payment 

The LA County has further mentioned that the beneficiaries must have been fostered till they were 18 years old. Furthermore, their income must be less than f equal to 100% median income in the area of their household or 120% in the case of 2 or more households. Moreover, they must have been severely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Eligible residents must apply through the Program of Breathe Income website and they will select 200 citizens. Eligible people will get notified from 20th June to 3rd July. 

Other states namely, Pennsylvania, New Mexico, Massachusetts, Colorado, and North Carolina are also offering stimulus checks.
