Conor McGregor is best known for his legendary MMA career, and perhaps also for being very outspoken. However, the MMA side of his sports career has been quite disappointing. Moreover, it is safe to say that his colleagues are beginning to get fed up with his act. Be that as it may, Conor McGregor is still a name big and popular enough for throwing the first pitch for the Chicago Cubs.

Conor McGregor’s Throw Eaten Up By The Internet

Fans and everybody in the audience would have assumed that someone involved – whether it be Conor McGregor, his team, or the Chicago cubs – had made sure that the MMA wrestler knew the basics of throwing a baseball. However, it would seem like that was not on the agenda for any of them before he arrived at the Cubs’ Wrigley Field.

As a result, Conor McGregor stepped up to the mound, readied his pitch, and then threw spectacularly wide. Now there have been other celebrities who have had the honor of throwing the first pitch in a baseball game. And there have been others who had just as bad of an appearance. The names include musician 50 cents, Doctor Anthony Fauci, and Carly Rae Jepsen. In fact, people have even compared the throws of McGregor and 50 cent side by side to determine who threw the better “pitch”.

This is not the first time Conor McGregor has failed at throwing some sort of a ball. In 2018, he had been present at the Dallas Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium. His throw looked more fitting in shot putting than the throw you see from an NFL quarterback. Back then, the internet had chuckled at his effort. Needless to say, McGregor was quite angry with the reaction.
