Def Leppard hit the road again as the legendary rock group teams up with Journey for a joint tour next summer. The 2 groups, both Grammy-nominated, announced over 20 shows, 3 of them scheduled for California.
Def Leppard will start their circuit on July 6. They begin with a concert in St. Louis at Busch Stadium. Heart, Cheap Tricks, and the Steve Miller Band will join the two bands at various venues. The first California stop for Def Leppard is at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood on August 25. They then move on north to Oracle Park in San Francisco, performing there on August 28. They are back south again in San Diego for a performance at Petco Park on August 30.
Def Leppard Was On A World Tour In 2023
The tour is normally scheduled to end on September 8 at Coors Field in Denver. But it remains unclear if there is a chance that Def Leppard could add extra tour dates. Joe Elliott, the Def Leppard lead vocalist revealed in a statement on the Journey website that they will hit the road with a new set of stage shows. He promised that they would present a whole new array of songs celebrating particular episodes of their journey. He even promised a few surprises in store for their fans. He invited them to join them for the summer tour.
Rock fans will go online for tickets that go pre-sale on Tuesday from 10 in the morning PT. General ticket sales are slated to begin on December 15 at 10 am local time. The Dep Leppard band is composed of guitarists Vivian Campbell and Phil Collen, Rick Allen on the drums, Rick Savage on bass guitar, and lead vocalist Joe Elliott. Def Leppard was on a world tour in 2023 with shows across Europe, South America, and Asia, ending with a few shows in the US. Motley Crue accompanied Def Leppard in some of the shows.
