Direct Tax Rebate Amounting To $1000 Set To Arrive Within Seven Days

Taxpayers of New Mexico will only have to wait for seven more days before a tax rebate amounting to a maximum of $1000 may arrive at their doorstep in June. The New Mexico residents who had successfully completed their 2021 tax filings will be eligible for these payments.

The New Mexico Tax Rebate

The tax rebate from New Mexico will be worth $500 if the filer is single and $1000 for filers who filed jointly. The payments are set to arrive through the medium of paper checks or through a direct deposit. Taxpayers who had chosen direct deposit as the preferred option can see their bank accounts reflect the tax rebate being deposited from June 16th. For paper check receivers, KOAT 7 reports, issuance will begin in the latter half of June.
