Britain’s first play professor, Paul Ramchandani said that studying at home shouldn’t feel like studying at school for children.
The Lego professor of play, University of Cambridge, said that since the outbreak has forced children to study at home and overloaded parents with work; play can come on its own.
The professor said that the ability of a parent to observe, understand, and respond to a child’s attempt at communication can enhance development.
He also mentioned that children whose fathers were engaged with them more playfully reflect better behavior and development in growth.
