When Mark Ronson married Meryl Streep’s daughter Grace Gummer, it is doubtful whether he considered the chances of him calling the actress ‘mom’. The artist, most well known for his song ‘Uptown Funk’ recently married the actress in an intimate wedding ceremony.
He then took to Instagram on the 4th of September to express his love for the actress in quite a tear-jerking tribute. In his post, he spoke about how the actress made the 45th year of his life his best. While it did take him 45 years to realize the man he was, he was hopeful that he would love her till the last day of his life.
Grace Gummer and Mark Ronson Married In A Private Setting
Grace Gummer and Mark Ronson are known for being notoriously private about their life, and they followed that trend by not revealing any details about their wedding. However, it had been reported previously that they got married in August in New York City. Gummer, who recently turned 35, has taken the same route as her mother with fans recognizing her from roles in Good Girls Revolt, Mr. Robot, American Horror Story, Smash, The Newsroom, and other TV shows.
Like her mother, she studied at Vassar College, before she ended up with a role in The House of the Spirits in 1993- where she played the role of her mother’s younger version.
Grace Gummer’s husband isn’t a lightweight either- he has taken the music industry by storm for quite some years now- earning seven Grammy awards on the way. The English singer has had major collaborations with singers like Dua Lipa, Bruno Mars, Miley Cyrus, Amy Winehouse, and others. Interestingly, the singer also has several famous people on his side of the family like Annabelle Dexter-Jones, as well as Charlotte Ronson.
In a podcast, Mark Ronson revealed that he had got engaged to Grace Gummer just a few months back- whilst admitting that they were quite a corny couple.
