Gavin Newsom, the current governor of the state of California, belonging to the Democratic Party, gave a national level speech at the state of Massachusetts. This takes place as the California recall elections get closer. He went on to warn the strangers about certain things. This incident took place on the 4th of September, which fell on a Sunday. It was held at one of the city high schools called Culver.

California Recall’s Speech

The current governor belonging to the Democratic Party stated that the public was perfectly aware of the “Big Lie” that the Republican Party is associated with. In the wake of the California recall election, the 53-year-old Gavin Newsom then mentioned the incident that took place on the 6th of January that claimed many lives. He also talked about other things that were going on in the country due to the thought process of the power holders belonging to the Republican Party warning the people to take the right action in the California recall election. That included the recent law passed in the state of Texas as well as the voter suppression that was going on.

Gavin Newsom further added that a decision was taken in the state of California in the month of November last year that it was absolutely important to defeat Donald Trump, the former President of the country. However, “Trumpism” was still there. Then calling out the names of a few states where it was still alive, he also mentioned the state of California. Though it is his job as a contender to save his office in the California recall elections, however, his message is taken as a national message transcending a particular state. Indirectly, it warned the voters that what took place in the Republican ruled states like Texas and Florida, can also take place in California if they won there.
