Grayson Allen found himself a surprise trade at the fag end. He was roped in by the Milwaukee Bucks. This has surprised everyone. The Bucks looked pretty much done and dusted with their drafts. However, just at the end of the proceedings, Allen was added to the team. This news was first published by ESPN.

Grayson Allen: A Surprise Entrant

Allen was being traded in by the Milwaukee Bucks. He was being exchanged for Sam Merill and two others. These players were picked up by the Memphis Grizzlies. The story of the surprising trade was first introduced by Adrian Wojnarowski. Wojnarowski worked for ESPN.

This was a very abrupt and interesting turn of events. No speculations or build-up were made to hint at the trade. Merrill was a promising player. He had performed fairly well as a rotational player. However, he did not match the expectations of the Bucks and was thus, traded. The other two players were also not satisfactory and hence the decision was made for the swap.

Grayson Allen is a promising star. He has all the potential in him to become a name to be reckoned with. He has performed brilliantly for the Grizzlies. He played 50 games for his now-former team and started in 38 of them. His average is 10.6 with rebounds at 3.2 and assists tallied at 2.2.

The Milwaukee Bucks can hope for a stellar performance from Allen. His attacking prowess just seems to get better with time. He averaged his outside shots at 39.1, which is commendable. Grayson Allen would fit in the roaster perfectly. He can provide much-needed flexibility and assist Pat Connaughton and Donte DiVencenzo. Though termed as a surprise, the addition of Grayson would certainly bolster the Bucks. It remains to be seen how the new trade works out for the team.
