On 12/8, Halsey and Blizzard Entertainment collaborated to reveal Diablo IV’s release date at The Game Awards at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. She played her 2021 song “Lilith” from ‘If I Can’t Have Love I Want Power’ at the event. The action role-playing game and Lilith, one of its characters, have long been an inspiration for the Capitol artist.

She said, “I knew I wanted to be a part of the build-up and launch as soon as Diablo IV was revealed. “Lilith has had such an impact on my artistic work and has influenced so many aspects of my alter-ego. I’m here as a contributor and a fan since my family and I have spent a lot of time at Sanctuary throughout the years.” (Sanctuary, which is also referred to as the Mortal Realm, serves as the main location for the Diablo series.)

Halsey’s Lilith Lit Up the Audience

Halsey continued by saying she and Blizzard Entertainment have more “in store,” implying that their collaboration is just getting started.

Diablo GM Rod Fergusson said, “Working with a brilliant artist who has adored Diablo for years is incredibly exciting. We can’t wait to continue to work with Halsey to support the launch of Diablo IV.” Halsey and the Diablo team welcome everyone to join us in the most violent interpretation of Sanctuary ever as they relentlessly wage war against angels and demons. On June 6, Diablo IV, the latest iteration of Sanctuary, will be released on the Xbox One and Sony PlayStation 5. Even though adding another six would have been appropriate, Halsey’s performance of “Lilith” set the necessary ferocious mood.
