Kamala Harris, the current Vice President, became the first woman on Saturday to deliver a commencement address at the graduation ceremony at the US Military Academy in West Point, New York.

In her commencement speech, she warned graduates that they had to be prepared for an increasingly unsettled world where long-standing principles were forever at risk. In the history-defining speech, Harris further discussed themes of global security and prosperity, arguing that the democratic ideals of the US-inspired billions of people. The VP mentioned that in the face of all the challenges, the country played a unified role of leadership. Cadets, global prosperity, and global security depended on the leadership of the USA. And a strong America remained pretty indispensable to the entire world.

Taking shots at the Russian aggression in Ukraine, Kamala Harris called the unprovoked invasion of Moscow, a major attack on international norms and rules that have previously served as the foundation of international prosperity and security for generations. She also slammed the Chinese government for modernizing its military and threatening both the freedom of the seas, as well as the rules for international commerce. The comments made by the VP come as the POTUS is seeking a second term in the White House next year.

On Saturday, Kamala Harris informed the graduates that they were joining the greatest fighting force the world had ever seen. And in the future, they would be tried, and tested, and it would have to be their own courage and bravery that would see them through. Of this, Kamala Harris was very confident.
