Kamala Harris Has Isolated Herself In Her House

In the words of Kristen Allen, the press secretary of Kamala Harris, the tests used for her determination were PCR and rapid tests. She also stated that the Vice President will keep on working from her own house isolated from everyone till she gets better.

Allen also added that Harris did not have any form of physical contact with the first lady or the President, Joe Biden, as both of them are traveling and were not near her in recent days. Harris is presently following all the instructions of her doctor and she has been instructed to stay indoors unless and until she is tested negative again.

On Tuesday Harris was supposed to get her daily briefing about intelligence from Joe Biden exactly at 10:15 a.m., which was missed by her due to her recent contamination. She is going through the treatment of antiviral and was given the medicine Paxlovid. However, as per Dr. Ashish Jha, the response coordinator of Covid-19 was not confident whether that drug was given to her or not as he is not a physician of Harris.

This drug is given to patients who are older than 12 and are in serious health conditions. It is prescribed by doctors during emergencies and permission is required from the Food and Drug Administration of the U.S. The process of tracing the source has already been started by the officials.
