Amid the tense relationship between China and USA. America is going to take part in a historic moment with China. Kevin McCarthy is going to part of the meeting with the Taiwan president, along with others. Tsai Ing-wen is coming to California, particularly for this meeting. The meeting is going to take place on Wednesday.At the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in California.
China Precisely Asked For Kevin McCarthy
The political situation between USA and China worsened when in early February a Chinese balloon was spotted. The meeting is completely diplomatic as China issued a statement. Kevin McCarthy and other Democratic members will be present at the meeting. The motive is to moderate the situation. The Chinese balloon threatened the country and residents were petrified. Later the balloon was shot down by US fighter jets. Many anticipated it was collecting data. But the balloon was supposed to pass through the US territory.
Taiwan’s presidential office, perhaps particularly asked Kevin McCarthy to be present at the meeting. Tsai-Ing-wen wanted to meet him. The meeting is indeed important after China has expressed its interest to fight back. Previously China has been threatened, if they try to help Russia. They are likely to face serious consequences.
One China policy is perhaps accepted by the US. They have taken Taiwan as a part of Chinese territory. However, China has refused to leave Taiwan from Beijing’s control. Again, the white house did not make any sound regarding Kevin McCarthy and Taiwan’s presidential meeting.
Nobody could tell immediately what would happen. Taiwan has released a statement saying, they would be stronger with the US. They do not like to be isolated perhaps. They want to be a part of democracy. Taiwan has given its hands of friendship to the US to accept. What Pelosi did last year, Kevin McCarthy has to prove something better than that. Both countries are looking forward to that.
