Lil X Nas, the American music sensation, is currently caught up in fighting his haters who slammed his performance at the 2021 BET Awards. He had taken the stage to give his performance in the track, Montenero. It was an absolutely amazing performance. This incident took place this Monday.
Lil Nas X On His Song
The performance given by Lil Nas X saw a celebration of his sexuality. He had concluded it by kissing his male dancer in a very passionate manner. However, this scene angered some homophobic people who started criticizing him. The “Old Town Road” singer did not hold himself back. He went on to defend the way he performed at the stage while using his right to defend himself.
The tweet that attacked Lil Nas X, got deleted. But he responded by stating that the ones who attacked him were actually the people who hated themselves. They did so to the point that they lived their respective lives trying to please others, particularly, the straight ones. He further slammed them by claiming that the haters felt unforgettable with his actions because they were afraid of how the others would react with themselves.
The 22-year-old artist gave his haters advice. He told them to start working on themselves as he did. And what that meant was to be comfortable in the way they were. He also mentioned that he loved whatever he was. Lil Nas X also mentioned that the song he performed was typically based on queer society and including sexual tension. So, it makes no sense for people to act that way. He was just going with the vibe of the track. Leaving a sarcastic comment, he mentioned if he could have just played the piano and baked a cake instead.
