Fernando Tatis Jr. To Be a Diego Padres Star

It is said that the deal concerning Fernando Tatis Jr. includes a full clause of “no-trade”. Not only that but it also involves a total of 10 million USD signing bonus plus no amount of “deferred money”. This was disclosed by the source, “MLB.com’s Mark Feinsand”. It is reported that the deal will be made official within this week. However, the celebrations are set to begin early.

Fernando Tatis Jr. had once been a gem of the farm system of Padres, which was a top-ranked one. He had been traded by the team, the Chicago White Sox in favour of the player, James Shields. This had caused the fans of White Sox to get infuriated due to the team’s bad decision.

Fernando Tatis Jr. was the hero of the season of 2020. He was one of the candidates with a lead in the MVP. This was in the month of September with a season that had been shortened. The points that were scored by him was .313/.395/.660.

The end of the breakout season was not a satisfying one. There are two reasons for this. One was the sweep of the San Diego Padres under the authority of the Los Angeles Dodgers, and a “slow final month”.
