Manchester City Qualifies For Champions League Finals

Manchester City in a stunning victory against the famed Real Madrid on Wednesday, has secured its position in the Champions League finals. The City has managed to score 4-0 against Madrid, in an unimaginable manner. Much of the City’s outstanding score is credited to a great performance by star player Bernardo Silva, who scored 2 goals in the first half of the match, while Manuel Akanji followed by Julián Álvarej scored 1 goal each, a total of 4 goals.

This win, further fuels Manchester City’s coach Pep Guardiola towards the probable win of the Treble. City’s winning match against Real Madrid in the semi-finals, they have now qualified for the finals on June 10 against Inter Milan which will be held in Istanbul. 

Real Madrid player Dani Carvajal, commented on the City’s win on the UEFA website, stating that the City has overwhelmed his team and that the City as a rival was better in this match than Madrid.

Real Coach Ancelotti Mentions  Manchester City’s Passing Strategy 

Carlo Ancelotti, coach of Real Madrid, has stated on the website of UEFA, that Manchester City has played well and their qualification is much deserved. It was the City’s great passing strategy that made it hard for the Madrid players, particularly in the first half of the match.

According to CNN, City’s scoring player Silva has commented on his team’s victory, saying that he did not feel well after the initial game, but for this game, he had to perform better for his fans and teammates. He knew that it would be tough to win against Madrid, however, after scoring 4-0, he feels wonderful and is looking forward to winning the finals as well.
