Michael Douglas’ Son Has Called Out His Bad Dad Jokes

Michael Douglas

Dylan Douglas, the son of Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones, informed Page Six that his Emmy-winning comedy actor father was quite embarrassing sometimes. The 22-year-old stated that this had more to do with what Michael Douglas says, rather than who he is as a person.

The grad student from Brown University also stated that this was simply a matter of fun, as he was all about bad jokes- and a little bit out of touch. Dylan’s parents met at the 1998 Deauville Film Festival where Michael was promoting his ‘A Perfect Murder’, and the Welsh-born star was promoting her famous movie ‘The Mask of Zorro’. The Fatal Attraction star reportedly told Jones he wanted to father her children.

Michael Douglas’ Son Has Claimed That His Emmy-Winning Father Can Be Quite Embarrassing

Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones married in November 2000, and share Dylan and sister, Carys, 20. Michael also has another son from his previous marriage- Cameron, 44 years old. Currently, Michael is heavily invested in The Douglas Foundation, which is a charitable organization that was established by Kirk Douglas, his father, and Anne Buydens, a stepmother. Kirk passed away at the age of 103, and Buydens at the age of 102 in 2021. The legend left a huge estate of $80 million to charity.

At an event, Michael Douglas spoke about the charities- where he mentioned that they were mostly cancer research, Children’s playgrounds, and a few other areas where he worked during his lifetime. Recently, he came to the Broadway opening to support Sean Hayes, the star of the show, who he knew from a guest appearance on Will and Grace- where he played a detective that was attracted to Will.
