Pep Guardiola Seeks Speedy Settlement Of Manchester City’s Financial Accusations

Pep Guardiola, manager of Manchester City, has expressed for speedy settlement of monetary charges against his club. Back in February of this year, financial accusations were brought against Manchester City by the Premier League, for its apparent breaching of over a hundred financial regulations. Premier League’s financial accusations include the City failing to meet financial fair play regulations of the Union of European Football Associations, failure to follow sustainability and profit rules of the Premier League and for presenting inaccurate monetary data among other issues.

City manager, Pep Guardiola spoke to journalists last Tuesday commenting on the club’s financial accusations that he would like the judges or the Premier League to deliver a speedy decision. That would inform everyone whether the club truly has done something wrong. He also stated that hopefully the League is not so busy as seen by the judges, and both sides are being heard and a decision is made for the best. According to Pep Guardiola, Manchester City has won fairly on the pitch as the City rightfully deserves it.

Pep Guardiola To Remain In Manchester City

Pep Guardiola commented on his position in Manchester City, he said that he would continue being manager for City in the following season, and his future presence depends on what is achieved. He also said that he has no intention of leaving the City. Guardiola’s contract with the City is till 2025, as he had signed an extension of his contract in November 2022 to receive £ 20 million per annum. Under his guidance, Manchester City has performed brilliantly over the past and present championships. Manchester City is all bound to the UEFA Champions League finals against Inter Milan on June 11.
