Carlo Ancelotti says that he believes the Royal Whites from Spain can improve upon their double triumph last season. While the Real Madrid supporters worry about the current situation of the club as there are no backup strikers to Karim Benzema who could score some goals in his absence, Ancelotti says he has reasons to believe that they can improve their results in the upcoming tournaments by building on their last season’s success without having a backup striker.

Madrid owns their 35th domestic league title, the most in Spain last season. Then they also fought against all the odds and won their 14th Champions League, the most prestigious club tournament trophy, and the most among the competing clubs. They brought down heavyweight teams and heavyweight players in that campaign. Now, as they are preparing for the UEFA super cup against Eintracht Frankfurt, who demolished Real Madrid’s rivals Barcelona in the league on their way to winning the Europa League, Ancelotti says that, he can improve the results from last season.

With the Super Cup Clash against the UEFA Europa League winners, Real Madrid is hopeful of winning the 99th trophy in their history. Also, if they win the super cup, president Florentino Perez will be three trophies behind the greatest player and administrator of the club, Alfredo Di Stefano as an administrator.

Ahead of the clash on Wednesday and then getting ready to kickstart the domestic season against Almeria this Sunday, Ancelotti says that they have already signed a defender and a midfielder in Antonio Rudiger from Chelsea and Aurelien Tchouameni, who have improved the quality of the team. Also, he says that he wants to improve the understanding between the veterans and the youngsters. He thinks that way; they can bring more success to the club.
