Ron DeSantis, the governor of the state of Florida has grown to be someone who cannot be touched at all. This is due to a few of the Republican cultures that were commanded by him. However, recent incidents are changing this system. And those changes are directly related to the rise in coronavirus infection in the country.
Ron DeSantis’ Fall?
The rise in the infection of the coronavirus in the state of Florida, governed by the Republican governor, Ron DeSantis, has led to a number of other problems. People throughout the state are going through a shortage of major healthcare facilities like morgue space, healthcare staff members as well as oxygen. Currently, a total of 16000 citizens are admitted to the hospitals.
The infection rates among children have gone to a new high. Most of the school districts of the state are revolting against the “anti-mask mandate” policy of the state governor, Ron DeSantis. In addition to that, the cruise lines are also opposing the “vaccine passport ban “ introduced by the Republican governor. And most importantly, the poll numbers that were recently calculated, are declining.
With all this going on in the state, the 42-year-old Ron DeSantis currently finds himself in the new political terrain. When the first wave of the coronavirus pandemic hit the state, he managed to come out of it by defying it. However, this is not the case with the Delta variant of the virus.
A large population of people who were not vaccinated against the virus is now suffering to a great extent. The most recent setback faced by Ron DeSantis was the judgment given by John Coope. He is the court judge of the Leon County Circuit. The judgment was given with regard to the subject of mask mandates in the county.
