Marvel started to build up their next phase with series like “WandaVision”, ” Falcon And The Winter Soldier” & “Loki”.

This series gave us an idea about the possible path MCU would follow. However, Shang-Chi is important in so many ways. This is the very first Marvel movie with an Asian character in the lead. The movie is expected to reveal the true colors of the Ten Rings. The first reference to the Ten Rings was made in Iron Man. Let’s break down the movie along with some spoilers below.

Shang-Chi Promises To Be Unique

Shang-Chi was hyped up heavily since its announcement. The film was supposed to be unique in many ways. As per the initial impression, it does promise to live up to the expectations. The movie starts with the introduction of the most anticipated villain – The Mandarin. We finally got to see the real Mandarin and it was just fantastic. The villain is portrayed by Tony Leung. He is a well-known actor from Honk Kong.

Wenwu or the Mandarin owns the dreaded society of Ten Rings. The character is seen to be immortal. Like all the villains, Mandarin also believes to have been vested with noble responsibilities. He is a man of chaos, vowing to plunge the world into darkness.

Shang-Chi is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton. He left his impression in his very first project. The uniqueness of the film can be sensed right from the start. This is perhaps the first superhero story that begins with a love story of the villain. The lead role of Shang-Chi is played by Simu Liu. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release in September.
