Spurs Gets Rejected By Bernardo Silva Breaking His Part In Kane’s Bid By City

Tottenham

Spurs get rejected by Bernardo Silva, the Portuguese who has been with Manchester City for quite some time. Silva was linked to Spurs as part of a potential exchange-like deal that would have taken Harry Kane, the England captain, and the Tottenham talisman to City.

Sources reveal that the Portuguese have no motive for switching over to Tottenham and are instead in wait for an offer from Spain.

It is a well-known fact that Pep Guardiola is inclined to have Kane in his team for City. However, Kane is currently valued at over £150 million, with three more years left on his deal with the Spurs.

Silva has been strongly linked with a move to Atletico Madrid, the winner of the LaLiga the previous season. The club has been looking to strengthen its squad with the hopes of being able to retain its title.

In case Harry Kane does not arrive from Spurs and Silva does not leave City, the game time would potentially be lessened since Jack Grealish, the £100m transfer from Aston Villa would be given time on the pitch.

Spurs Not Letting Kane Go Make City Explore Other Options

Delap is one of the most celebrated players in Manchester City right now, with 27 goals to his name in just 24 appearances for the U23 team. In case the club fails to secure Harry Kane from the Spurs, Delap may be promoted to the first team, along with the center forward options that Pep currently has.

According to Pep, the Spurs striker would make a valuable addition to the team, and this was proved by the loss in their opening game that the attack is not as good as it is supposed to be. However, with a few options still remaining under his belt, the Manchester City coach also believes that new talents must be given a chance to grow and succeed at the highest level in professional football.
