State Stimulus Check 2022: States That Will Be Sending Out These Checks In September

Illinois residents who meet the requirements will begin getting $50 tax stimulus check, or $100 if they jointly filed their taxes, on September 12. Additionally, residents may be eligible for a $300 property tax rebate.

Not only the Land of Lincoln is offering special tax refunds to fight inflation, but Hawaiians also began receiving direct deposits on Friday of a one-time return worth $300 for individuals who earned under $100,000 in 2021 or $100 for those who made more.

Additionally, Colorado residents have received stimulus check $750 payments, or $1,500 for joint filers, since August due to the Taxpayer’s Bill of Rights (TABOR) Amendment. State authorities said they should be finished by the end of this month.

States That Will Be Sending Out Stimulus Check In September 2022:

California: 

Inflation relief payments will be distributed to millions of Californians, with married couples with children receiving up to $1,050. Direct transfers or debit cards will be used to distribute the payouts, which would be made from California’s $97 billion surplus yearly budget. The first payments will be made as early as October.

Colorado: 

Because o the 1992 Taxpayer’s Bill of Rights (TABOR) Amendment, state residents who completed their 2021 form by June 30 will get a physical check for $750 by September 30.

Delaware: 

All residents who submitted their 2020 tax forms received a $300 stimulus check after Gov. John Carney passed the Delaware Relief Rebate Program in April.

Florida: 

According to Republican Governor Ron DeSantis, nearly 60,000 Florida families got one-time payments of $450 per child “to mitigate the costs of growing inflation, especially with a new school year approaching.”

Georgia: 

A law allowing refunds to taxpayers who submitted their state returns for 2020 and 2021 was approved by Governor Brian Kemp in March. In May, heads of households received $375, married couples filing jointly received $500, and single taxpayers received $250.
