Since the start of the pandemic, there have been three rounds of stimulation checks, but many people urgently need another one. Even if inflation still punishes consumers, states are rising to the challenge. However, not all states can meet the need for more money.

Since the start of the pandemic, there have been three rounds of stimulation checks, but many people urgently need another one. Even if inflation still punishes consumers, states are rising to the challenge. However, not all states can meet the need for more money.

States Giving Stimulus Check To Taxpayers: 

California: 

Residents who meet the criteria will be given up to $1,050 between late October 2022 and mid-January 2023.

Colorado: 

Eligible Colorado citizens can get a tax reimbursement stimulus check of $750 for single filers and $1,500 for joint filers through the Colorado Cash Back Bill. Depending on when they filed, taxpayers will receive the rebate between September 30, 2022, and January 31, 2023.

Delaware: 

Residents who meet the requirements get a one-time $300 payment from the Delaware Relief Rebate Program. This summer, checks will be issued.

Florida: 

Families receive one-time stimulus check payments of $450, but only if they have caregivers, foster parents, or are enrolled in government aid programmes.

Georgia: 

Georgia law allows for cost-of-living tax refunds of $250 for individuals, $375 for heads of households, and $500 for married couples and joint filers.

Hawaii: 

Each qualified Hawaii citizen will get either $100 or $300.

Idaho: 

Idaho residents who qualify will receive a tax credit of $75 or 12% of their state taxes in 2020.

Illinois: 

Through June 30, 2023, eligible Illinois residents can enjoy a 1% sales tax discount on groceries and a 6.25% to 1.25% sales tax decrease from August 5 to 14. In addition, they will receive income tax refunds ranging from $50 to $100, depending on their filing status.

With Indiana, Massachusetts, New Mexico, Oregon and other states joining the list, the number of states providing stimulus checks is growing.
