Stimulus Check

Stimulus Check has been the talking point of Americans for the last year. The money received from the government has benefited the people largely.

However, citizens have stated that the money offered was not enough. The federal government designed the plan in the month of March. They have sent out three rounds of stimulus checks so far. The third round of payments was sent out by the IRS recently.

The checks were worth $1400. These were sent out as direct payments to the qualified individuals. People earning below $75000 were entitled to receive the stimulus payments. Citizens who qualified to receive the payments have benefitted largely.

They could focus more on productive work and worry less about finance. This money was predominantly used by the people to pay off their debts. However, the fact that the government was no longer interested in the Stimulus Check concerned the mass. Daily workers and on-site employees suffered the most.

A large number of citizens’ salaries were compromised. The economy took a sudden decline. To combat the adversities, monetary funding was announced. Problems have just been magnified further. People have not been receiving their stimulus checks on time.

Let us learn more about the story in detail below.

Stimulus Check: Why Are The Checks Not Coming?

Stimulus Checks were supposed to reach the eligible citizens last year. Three rounds of checks along with the Child Credit Tax were sent.

However, the checks did not seem to have reached the citizen. A lot of citizens have complained about not receiving their entitled checks.

They stated that when they looked up the IRS website, they could not provide any details.

The IRS stated that this is happening due to a huge backlog. Almost 11million payments are yet to be processed.

This happened largely due to a lack of staff. The IRS worked with a limited number of staff during the pandemic.

However, they have assured the citizens that all the payments will be cleared soon.
