It’s important to note that this is not an extension of SNAP benefits; rather, it’s a one-time payment that comes from another part of the program (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Employment and Training).
The estimated amount of money each household will receive has not been announced yet, but it’s expected to be around $100 per household member over 18 years old. You’ll also need access to an email address or phone number for verification purposes because some states require confirmation before paying out funds like these.
Stimulus Check: Are Payments Available For Florida?
Those who qualify for the payment include those who have been confirmed to have contracted the coronavirus. Those who are considered to be at risk of contracting the virus are also eligible.
