Americans all over are reeling through the adversities of inflation right now. As a result of this, many people are going further into debt. To help tax filers during these difficult times, these states have decided to continue with their stimulus checks even in 2023.
States Providing Stimulus Checks
Alaska: End of March
Eligible Alaskans have been given until the 31st of March to apply for an application (both online and in-person will be accepted) for PFD scheme. The program will determine which resident is eligible for mineral royalties.
South Carolina: End of March.
The eligible residents are expected to get stimulus checks of around $800 if they have paid their taxes between October 2022 to February 2023.
Massachusetts: 15th of September
For the year 2021, Massachusetts’ 62F refund scheme entitles eligible taxpayers to over 13% of revenue tax rebates. Residents will be eligible if they have filed their taxes by the 15th of September.
New Jersey: End of May
New Jersey has launched a campaign called the ANCHOR program. Residents who have filed their taxes before the end of February may expect up to $450 (renters) or $1,500 (property owners) in the form of stimulus checks.
New Mexico: End of May
Even though the residents of New Mexico have already received the majority of their rebates for 2022, one still may have a chance of acquiring another if they have not yet submitted their tax returns for the previous year. People who filed their taxes by the end of May are eligible for refunds worth $500 or $1000, depending upon the status of their filing.
Maine: End of June.
One could be eligible for their relief payment stimulus checks under the Winter Energy Rebate Scheme if they live in the state of Maine, have submitted their personal revenue taxes by the end of October, and have fulfilled the income limits. One is eligible for around $450 if their income ranges between $100k to $150k. Married people who qualify and make less than $200k may anticipate stimulus checks of $900.
