An adaptation of Stephen King‘s ‘The Stand’ in 2020 is set to be a mini-series filled with expansive plots and a lot of varying characters alongside well-known actors. The story follows the consequences of a man-made plague which affects the population. The survivors are divided into groups and establish a new societal atmosphere. It includes political commentary and social states. 

The Shining Cast Of ‘The Stand’

In the series, James Marden plays a lab rat because he has immunity against the flu. He breaks out of captivity and turns into one of the major characters. Odessa Young plays the young woman and the moral director for the group in ‘The Stand’. She gets involved with Stu Redman. She acted in The Daughter, and also Shirley.

Whoopi Goldberg acts as an empathetic old woman in The Stand. Her unusual visions aid the survivors. Mother Abigail played by her, is perceived as supernatural. She bagged an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and a Tony for her previous roles.

Alexander Flaggard plays the antagonist Randall Flagg. He has been seen in True Blood and Generation Kill. Nadine Cross played by Amber Heard is a teacher in The Stand.

Owen Teague as Harold Lauder plays an awkward teenager in ‘The Stand’ series.

Jovan Adepo is cast as Larry Underwood. Nick Andros is portrayed by Henry Zaga. Greg Kinnear as Glen Bateman is to look out for. Ezra Miller is tagged as ‘Trashcan Man’.
