The President of the United States of America, Joe Biden, made an announcement for Volodymyr Zelensky, Ukrainian President, on Sunday. Biden made it very clear that the US and their allies have decided to “respond decisively” in case Russia invades Ukraine any further.

As reports from the White House stated, this statement was made by Biden from a call that took place between Biden and Volodymyr Zelensky.

It has been known that this conversation happened a few days following Biden requested Vladimir Putin, Russian President, to reduce their unrelenting military problems upon the border of Ukraine. In addition, the officials of the US and Russia are preparing to meet physically in Geneva towards the end of this month.

Volodymyr Zelensky Forges Good Relation With The US

Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky, tweeted on Sunday evening, mentioning the call he had with Biden. He especially stressed that Ukraine shares a very good and strong relationship with the US. He further added that the US and other allies try to maintain peace within Europe. They try and avoid any de-oligarchization, reforms, or escalation through discussion.

Zelensky also expressed his gratitude for the unwavering support provided by the US.

Despite Biden’s warnings, Russia positioned 100,000 troops at the Ukrainian border. World leaders are wary of the consequences of Russia’s invasion and US intelligence believe Russia might make a move in early 2022.

Biden warned Putin of grave consequences if they decide to further invade Ukraine and the relation between the two nations might completely break down.

Russia also requested NATO and the US for a reassuring pledge against invasion and the Ukrainian alliance of military. Putin has already approved 3 conferences across Europe with the US that are expected to have a serious impact on the military decisions.
