Chelsea Hold Liverpool To A Draw

Chelsea has been performing significantly well in recent times. The Blues have matured as a team over the years. The team has always had promising starts but failed to perform consistently. However, things have started looking better for the Blues. They had their best UCL outings in a while. 

The team started grandly this season. They kept winning matches and were eyeing the title. However, things started to change drastically. The Blues kept slumping down the table. Lukaku did not play the match as Liverpool drew first blood. Much against the run of play, Sadio Mane and Mo Salah scored. Liverpool went 2-0 up and looked to have sealed the game. 

Chelsea did not disappoint their fans. Mateo Kovacic and Christian Pulisic scored to level the scores to 2-2. The draw helped Manchester City significantly. They are now ten points clear of second-placed Chelsea. Liverpool is currently placed third with 42points.
