Whitney Houston was paid tribute to by organizing a remembrance by ABC. The segment aimed to focus on the stars who suffered unfortunate and premature deaths. The initial list included Houston, Robin Williams & Kobe Bryant. The first episode of the show focused on paying tribute to the great Whitney Houston.

Whitney Houston Remembered

 20/20 is one of the famous magazines on ABC. It is also the longest magazine to be running on the network. Recently, they took a new objective. They wanted to pay tribute to the iconic superstars of Hollywood. The initial approach was towards Houston. They opened their show by remembering the great singer. 

The opening episode saw some famous personalities. Chaka Khan, Brandy & Bebe Winans was seen to reminisce about the great personality. Houston passed away on 11th February 2011. She was found dead in her room in Beverly Hills. The conclusion of her death was a sad one. Investigators stated that she had died by drowning in her bathtub. This happened to a cocaine overdose. 

“Superstars” does not only emphasizes revisiting the tragic ends of the icons. It has also promised to take a trip down memory lane. The show has promised to show us the marvelous journeys of these greats. The achievements of Houston were fantastic. She is believed to be the flag bearer for all black artists. 

Whitney Houston broke all the stigma surrounding black people. Her success paved the way for many other black artists to excel. She seems to have knocked all the doors and provided a clear path to success. Houston will be remembered as one of the most talented and decorated artists of all time. It is quite sad that we had to lose such a marvelous talent abruptly.
