Residents of Los Angeles County, who were previously under foster care and now become adults, may soon be eligible to apply for a direct stimulus check worth $ 1,000 under a beneficiary program known as Breathe. The eligible claimants will then be receiving the direct stimulus payout per month for two years.
This welfare program, which had taken similar initiatives in 2022, had chosen 1,000 applicants, who would receive $ 1,000 per month over three years. These 1,000 recipients were arbitrarily chosen from a larger number of eligible claimants. Breathe now focuses on choosing and adding 200 more recipients in their program who will receive the stimulus check as stated to the Washington Examiner by a spokesperson about the program of Los Angeles County. For residents who wish to apply, the period of application will start from 6 a.m. June 20, till 11:59 p.m. of July 3.
