So far he rescued 1300 dogs and 40 cats. He started rescuing animals when he was four, his mother helped him in that. She posts his adorable videos on facebook of Roman playing with shelter animals. And according to shelter staff, Roman is a real “Dog Whisperer!”
He tries to know more about every animal, plays with them and makes videos talking about them, videos really show the personality of every dog, “dogs don’t need to be in a shelter, they need to do things,” Roman said.
He works hard to help dogs “do things” The Project Freedom Ride, is founded by his mother, an organization that gives chances to dogs finding a loving family in Texas and Georgia.
You can see Roman’s love for unwanted dogs on his face! and as his mom says: “he lights up like a Christmas tree.” He certainly is inspiring and it’s easy to see why he was named Kid of the Year by the ASPCA.
Roman stated: “I think it’s very important for the dogs I meet that I give them the best chance at finding the right home that they need.” Then added: “I think a lot of other kids should be doing what I’m doing.” urging kids to save animals.
