Alec Baldwin is continuously being haunted by the “ Rust” fiasco. The incident took place in the middle of 2021. It has almost been a year since the actor has been investigated.

Baldwin had to go through a number of investigation procedures over time. He has been interrogated more than once. The actor had to appear in the court of law frequently.

All these have deteriorated his mental health significantly. Alec’s wife, Hilaria Baldwin came to his support. She asked the media not to spread rumors about her husband. Hilaria also informed them that the actor was suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

The police had even ordered for the seizure of Alec’s personal cell phone. Apart from Baldwin, a number of the production members were also facing harassment. This Monday, they decided to approach the judge and asked him to bunk the case.

The lawyers of Alec Baldwin and other production crews pleaded with the judge for calling off the case. Let us learn more about the story in detail below.

Alec Baldwin Case To Be Called Off?

Alec Baldwin was accused of having unnecessarily fired the gun in the sets of Rust. This allegation was brought by Mamie Mitchell. Mitchell worked as the supervisor of scripts and stated that there was no need for firing.

Mamie was an eyewitness to the case and was stationed at a distance of four feet when the shot was fired.

Michael E. Whitaker is the judge for the “Rust” case. He listened to the pleas of Alec Baldwin and decided to look over the matter. Whitaker has announced a hearing on the 24th of February.

A decision of whether to carry on with the case or not will supposedly be taken on that day.
