The 23rd of April is an important day for Andrew Cuomo, the governor of the state of New York. The reason for this is because it marks a span of six weeks since he was called upon to resign.

The ones to put pressure on him were the congressional delegation of New York from the Democratic party. The group also included the two senators from the state. The pressure was put on the Democratic governor following several allegations made against him with regard to sexual harassment. These allegations were made by the former staffers of the governor.

Andrew Cuomo Trend Is On Decline

It can be said without any doubt that Andrew Cuomo has no plans of resigning from his office. He is still the New York governor. As for now, there has been a shift of focus of the world of politics, from him to other recent events. This can also be witnessed in google trends. The search interest with regard to the Democratic governor had reached the peak from the last day of February to the first week of the month of March. And since then, there has been a constant decline.

The question of his future plans is still being asked to Andrew Cuomo, by the reporters. There had been a question about his decision in case he was found to be guilty by Letitia James, the Attorney General of New York. James is the one who has been in charge of the investigation of the Democratic Governor. The question was asked this Wednesday. Andrew Cuomo gave a vague reply. He said that everything relies on the nature of the review. He further went on to say that he would not give any of his views on something that was still under process.

It is to be noted that Letitia James, the Attorney General, has not released any timeline with regard to the investigation of the Democratic Governor. The Judiciary Committee of the assembly of New York is performing the investigation on the allegations of Cuomo in its own way.
