For bragging about her and her boyfriend Travis Scott’s personal aircraft and for using her jet for short flights, Kylie Jenner has received significant anger from users on social media.
On Tuesday, Jenner took a jet from Camarillo to Van Nuys, California; the trip took three minutes by air compared to 45 minutes by car, according to the Twitter account @CelebJets.
It was then made clear on the page that the entire flight lasted 17 minutes.
The Twitter Battle With Kylie Jenner
For some reason, Jenner’s trip was not included in the usual Twitter feed breakdown of the cost of gasoline, the number of tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions, and the number of kilos of jet fuel used.
The 24-year-old reality star and the 31-year-old DJ Scott posed for a black and white shot ahead of their private aircraft 3 days after their fast travel.
On Friday, she posted a photo on Instagram with the provocative remark, “you want to steal mine or yours?”
People took to Twitter and Insta to call Jenner a “climate criminal.”
One Twitter user joked, “Can not wait to watch Kylie Jenner post planet sustainability images on her posts as if she is not single-handedly doing far more damage to the earth than the majority of us with her 3 min flights.”
The thought of Kylie Jenner taking a private plane for a three-minute ride makes another person “mind-numbingly outraged”
One Instagram user commented, “Whos[e] plane should we [use to] pollute the environment today?” on Jenner’s post.
A further voice questioned, “But what about addressing climate change?”
Jenner, who has been criticized for making mundane tasks sound glamorous, has not yet responded to the backlash.
Back in 2019, the “Kardashians” star was criticized for picking up Kendall Jenner for dinner on her private plane.
