Andrew Cuomo, the Governor of New York, gave a follow-up of the allegations made on him. The Democratic governor is accused of sexual harassment by several women, half of which worked with him. They accused him of things like making inappropriate physical advancements and intruding into matters related to their sex life.
Andrew Cuomo Expresses Faith On James
The New York governor gave a statement this Wednesday following the allegations. A new accuser came to the forefront recently making similar claims. he referred to the allegations as “gut-wrenching.”
The new accuser, the sixth one, stated that he did the same things to her as well. The New York governor stands accused of touching the woman against her permission. She claimed that this took place at the mansion of the governor. As per the details, it was stated that Andrew Cuomo reached under the blouse of the female staff and touched her. Although the source of the details was not stated.
The Democratic Governor claimed that he was innocent. He said nothing like this ever took place. He further went on to refer to the Attorney General who is looking over the matter. He claimed that he had full faith in the decision that would be given following the investigations. Andrew Cuomo stated that he had no intention of going into the details of all the allegations made against him.
The Attorney General of New York, Letitia James has taken over his case. James has made the appointment of a total of two lawyers to work in the case. Out of the two, one is a former Us Attorney who will look into the matter of an independent investigation of the case of Governor Andrew Cuomo.
