Angelina Jolie has recently met with officials at the White House. She is a successful actress and is also a human and woman rights activist. Jolie had a unique and charming screen presence that separated her from the rest.

She has several shining achievements to her name. Angelina Jolie has won the Academy Awards and also boasts of three Golden Globe Awards. She also held the title of being the highest-paid actress in Hollywood several times. Some of her biggest hits include Maleficent, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, Salt, Mr & Mrs. Smith, etc.

The star recently paid a visit to the White House to discuss women’s rights. The administration of Joe Biden had developed the Violence Against Women Act recently. The actress asked the officials to reauthorize the act. 

Angelina Jolie In Talks With House Officials Over Women’s Rights

Angelina met with several eminent personalities from the House. She had a discussion with Press Secretary Jen Psaki. Jolie also met with Kate Bedingfield and Jennifer Klein. All of them discussed reauthorizing the Act of violence against women.  Previously, Jolie had also met with lawmakers at the Capitol. She discussed the bill with them as well.

Angelina’s spokesperson stated that the star emphasized the importance of women and child health. She also discussed the reauthorization of the VAWA. The actress stated that proper reforms from the FBI and unbiased collections from the forensic are of utmost importance. The ongoing pandemic has been a health disaster. Thus, she wanted a complete reauthorization of the legislature. 

Angelina Jolie’s presence seems to have lightened up the White House. Psaki expressed her joy in meeting the actress. She posted on social media and termed Jolie as ” tireless” and “committed”. Jolie also said that the discussions she had were very much encouraging. She hoped for a positive result very soon.
