Arsenal is desperately seeking to sign up Dusan Vlahovic, the Serbian Sensation with Fiorentina. The Serbian sensation has been on a goal-scoring spree in Serie A with 16 goals in 20 appearances.

At 21, Dusan Vlahovic is already one of the most sought-after strikers in the world and Arsenal is doing all it can to move ahead in the queue manned by Tottenham, Bayern Munich, and Real Madrid.

Arsenal’s hopes received a fresh impetus with news that Fiorentina is keen to bring in Krzysztof Platek though Fiorentina sources stated that they are not considering him as a replacement for Dusan Vlahovic.

Dusan Vlahovic Wants To Stay With Fiorentina This Season

While Dusan’s future is destined to be away from Fiorentina, he has stated his desire to end the season with Vincenzo Italiano’s team.

On this side of the pond, the English team has made an offer of $62.1M plus an immediate signing of Lucas Torreira.

It appears unlikely at this state that Fiorentina will release Dusan Vlahovic in the middle of the season, given that he is their leading goal scorer. It is also not clear if Vlahovic should be willing to contemplate a transfer to the North London club.

Transfer experts have revealed that Dusan Vlahovic has no plans at present to leave his present team.

Arsenal aggressively moved in to make the transfer and have approached Fiorentina a couple of weeks back to discuss the price. But he appeared non-committal at the moment.

This is not destined to go down well with Mikel Arteta who is desperate to sign on new players. He clearly was not all right with the idea of not getting the players he wanted right from the start. He opined that it was all about the right pitch for the right players. And all players who come in should have the right feelings for the club, he said.
