Billie Eilish will fill the headliner spot in Coachella this year. Coachella has three names and she will be one of them. However, the biggest question in this entire scenario is the status of Travis Scott in this year’s festival.
A close source with some inside knowledge has remarked that Eilish has already been signed to be one of the star performers at the music festival in 2022. The previous edition of this festival in 2020 included big names like Travis Scott, Rage Against the Machine, and Frank Ocean. Nonetheless, the festival had to be canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Coachella Fest Yet To Release Official Artists’ List
Rage Against the Machine has backed out from this 2022 edition, according to reports. On the other hand, Franck Ocean has committed to performing at the 2023 Coachella festival.
After these changes, the Coachella festival signed the Swedish House Mafia who has made the announcement of returning to music-making just two months back. Following this signing, the festival signed their second big name and it is none other than, Billie Eilish.
It is fairly obvious that Travis Scott was removed from the line-up following the tragic incident that took place in November at Astroworld. Scott has been facing the brunt of the incident that happened due to his own negligence as well as the complete disregard for fellow human life. He has also been unapologetically axed from the Dior collaboration. Another of his collaboration with Cactus Jack is indefinitely postponed.
Coachella has already made the official announcement that attendees no longer need to present their vaccination certificates for attending this California fest. However, concert-goers must present proof of testing negative in the COVID-19 test that has been taken under 72 hours before entering. They follow COVID protocols strictly.
