One more Bush was added to the family on Monday. Barbara Bush and Craig Coyne, her husband, welcomed the couple’s first child. Their newborn daughter has been named Cora.

A Joyful Moment For Barbara Bush

On Wednesday, George W Bush, the former president and the father of Barbara Bush, announced the joyful news via an official statement on the official Twitter account of the Presidential Center of George Bush. The statement said that both George Bush and Laura, his wife, are announcing their newest granddaughter’s birth with extreme delight.

Cora Georgia Coyne was born to Barbara Bush in Maine on 27th September 2021. The birth did take place close to their family home where Cory and Barbara’s marriage took place. Cora has been born adorable and healthy. Her grandparents are extremely grateful and proud of it.

The news of the birth was surprising as 39-year-old Barbara Bush made no announcements earlier that the couple was going to have a child. On Wednesday, Jenna Bush Hager, the twin sister of Barbara Bush, posted on her Instagram an adorable note for baby Cora.

In the post, Jenna wrote that about her most precious, feisty, and beautiful niece and her joy in getting to meet her on Wednesday. She was present when Barbara was giving birth and was amazed at her sister’s strength. She could not wait to let the cousins play together.

Hager has 3 kids herself. She also posted several pictures with Cory. Some of them had Coyn posing along with her inside the hospital. Barbara Bush’s account on Instagram is private. In 2018 October, Barbara had married the actor from “Jarhead” in Maine.

The pair had met via their friends in 2017 November. Their relationship has been most private. They were never photographed together either in public before their wedding.
