The German giants won 3-0 against Barcelona at Camp Nou and took the first spot in Group E.

Barcelona started miserably without their talisman as Bayern ran out 3-0 winners. Thomas Muller scored the first goal via a deflection while Lewandowski added a brace in the second half. Barcelona did not threaten the opposition goalie and failed to register a single shot at the target.

Barcelona Loses Massively, Fails To Register A Shot On Target

The Bavarian giants were losing their way as they lost to PSG and Hansi Flick left them to join the German national team. Julian Nagelmann came in to replace him. After signing Marcel Sabitzer and Dayot Upamecano, Bayern Munich have found their old spark. We can now consider that it will be a winning routine for the German side at Camp Nou.

Barcelona failed to register a single shot on target. That says it all about the team. Koeman’s team was second best in every aspect and never tested Neuer at the goal. A string of absentees might have been the reason for such a loss.

Koeman has been humiliated so many times but how much more can he take it. This loss feels dispiriting as it feels quite severe. The score might not be so heavy but it shows how barren and broken Barcelona has become.

Robert Lewandowski is back again with a brace. He is currently 33 years old and shows no signs of slowing down. This is a great start for the Polish striker and this puts him in the race to win the honorable golden boot.
