Britney Spears, the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter, put on a different rendition of Baby One More Time on her social media- after the hit song crossed 24 years since its inception. In her length caption on Instagram, the 40-year-old singer mentioned that she had struck upon this rendition when she was doing her laundry and it was time she shared her voice with others.
The video showed her singing this song in a dimly lit room while she did some household chores. She also explained that she always had plans of bringing out an updated rendition for this track that could be located on her diamond-selling debut album with the same name. But all of her plans had been thwarted by her decade-long conservatorship- which was terminated in November 2021.

In recent news concerning the conservatorship of Britney Spears, Judge Brenda Penny of the Los Angeles Superior Court recently mentioned that Jamie Spears, the father of the singer, had to sit for a deposition in Los Angeles- which would be a part of an investigation into his role as the singer’s conservator.
When fans of Britney Spears asked her to move forward with bringing out an updated version of the song, she stated that it wasn’t easy doing all of that again after spending 14 years asking and telling people to do that. She had done everything she could- but she had been locked up in a single place with no freedom to pull something like this off.
