Chris Noth has recently been more vocal about his relationship with Sarah Jessica Parker, his onscreen partner for Sex and the City. The 67-year-old actor, who would hit the TV screens reprising his role of Mr. Big on the Sex and the City revival And Just Like That… stated that he was quite protective of his longtime costar, with whom he had shared the same screen space for close to 20 years.
But when Noth was asked about the tensions surmounting between Parker and former co-star Kim Cattrall, North mentioned that he had absolutely no clue what Cattrall was getting at, or what her emotions were, currently.
Chris Noth Doesn’t Understand Cattrall’s Vitriol
Chris Noth did continue by saying that he had no idea where Cattrall got her description of Sarah Jessica Parker, for Noth had known her for quite some time now, and the description didn’t even come close. He also lamented the fact that he liked her, as she was quite marvelous in the show. But, one would also have to accept that some people just move on for their own reasons- and he didn’t know what her reasons were. He simply found the entire debacle quite uncomfortable and sad.
Chris Noth was quite frank about the whole situation, as he stated that he didn’t like anyone slandering Sarah Jessica Parker, who played the role of Carrie Bradshaw, as people could get nasty about her. He was very protective of her, and Cattrall’s comments about her did strike a wrong chord in his head. Cattrall played the role of Samantha Jones on Sex and the City, which ran for six seasons and had two movies produced off of it.
And Just Like That… will showcase Chris Noth, Parker, as well as Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis, the original characters in the show. Needless to say, the show would follow Miranda, Carrie, and Charlotte, as they navigate New York while being 50 years old.
