Christina Applegate, an actor who has won the Primetime Emmy, revealed her diagnosis on Twitter. She posted about her condition on the social media site late in the evening on Monday.
Christina Applegate Has Been Suffering For Some Months
In her Twitter post, she said that she was diagnosed with MS a couple of months ago. So far, the journey has been strange. However, she has received a lot of support from the people around her who also suffer from multiple sclerosis. The road has been tough, but the only thing left to do is just keep going. Of course, unless someone else blocks it, said Christina Applegate who starred in “Dead to Me.”
She continued by saying that one of her friends with MS had told her that the routine was waking up and doing what was indicated. She explained that it is what she does now. Therefore, she requested privacy while she went through the disease.
Christina Applegate had received her Primetime Emmy for being the best guest actress in any comedy series in 2003 when she appeared in “Friends.” In 2004, she was once more nominated for “Friends” in the previous category.
Christina Applegate also received nominations in 2008 as well as 2009 for her lead actress role in the comedy series “Samantha Who?” In 2019 as well as 2020, Applegate once again received nominations for her lead role in “Dead to Me.” The comedy series also received a nomination for being an outstanding one. She has also been nominated multiple times for the Golden Globes.
In 2008, Christina Applegate had undergone a mastectomy for breast cancer. She has successfully recovered from that disease. MS, or multiple sclerosis, affects the spinal cord and the brain. This causes problems with balance, sensation, or vision. In the majority of cases, it can be treated.
