He was also accused of providing various wrong information about AIDS. This made him face a huge backlash from fans and supporters. As a result of all the controversies, he has been dropped from Lollapalooza.

The star performer will not perform in Lollapalooza. The music fest in the US has decided to strip off Baby from the list. This was supposedly a reaction to all the controversies surrounding him recently. His performance at the Rolling Loud faced much heat. It was accused to contain inappropriate words. Some words were even alleged to appear insulting towards women.
The tweet that announced the news had a strong tone. The official handle stated that the foundation was based on love and respect. They could not allow DaBaby to perform at the Grant Park. He was replaced by G Herbo & Young Thug.
Jonathon Lyndale Kirk was the original name of Baby. He was seen to spread morphed information during one of his performances. He apologized later both on Instagram and Twitter. He admitted the insensitivity of the comments. He also stated that it was completely unintentional. DaBaby earlier enjoyed the no1 spot in the charts with his hit “Rockstar”.
DaBaby’s actions drew some serious attention. Eminent personalities like Elton John, Dua Lipa, Madonna, criticized the pop star. They stated there were many myths and stigmas around AIDS. As influencers, they needed to break them instead of spreading them. Baby rose to fame with his album ” Baby On Baby”. This album featured his famous hit, “Suge”.
