Davante Adams is not keen to extend his contract with the Green Bay Packers. According to reports, both Packers & Adams we’re not interested in an extension. He signed for the Packers in 2017 and continued to be an important member of the squad. However, the stint in all probability will come to an end this time.

Davante Adams Would Possibly Leave Packers Along With Aaron Rodgers? 

Adams currently boasts of a handsome payroll for the Green Bay. He is paid $58million via his extended contract. Adams was asked to continue with the team in 2017. However, his remuneration averaged $14.5 million yearly. This was a bit low as he ranked 18th on the scale of receiving payments.

After this decision of Aaron, Davante conveyed his concerns. He stated that his plans with the team would be affected by Rodgers’ decisions. 

He expressed his love and respect for Rodgers. Adams said that the only person he looked up to as a friend was Aaron. He has been through thick and thin of Adams’ life. Aaron’s decision of leaving the Packers would severely impact his decisions going forward. 

Davante Adams has a very illustrated career for the Packers. He was at the top of the leaderboard. His touchdowns amounted to 115. He also edged past the 1000yards mark. This feat was achieved by him only twice.
