Joe Fournier fought against David Haye and commented that he was heavy-handed and can make David feel his punches. David Hayes knows that Fournier is quite skilled, as they will be wearing smaller gloves.

The Spar Session Between Fournier And David Haye

Fournier insisted that David Haye was left bloody after he dealt him a serious punch during a sparring session.

Haye is currently 40 years old and is ending the retirement he was supposed to be in and will be fighting Fournier. Fournier had talked his way into this fight while they were enjoying a holiday in Mykonos.

Fournier was an undefeated light heavyweight and was estimated to be a billionaire. He was Haye’s sparring partner and took confidence from the sparring rounds.

They were sparring in Miami when Fournier slipped under David Haye and dropped a left hook to bust his nose. He had left him bloody and realized that he can hit Haye’s pretty well.

He considered him to be good at his work as it is quite difficult to bust a pro’s nose.

They had sparred for several heavy rounds and Fournier realized that he can hit him hard.

David Haye had a notorious knockout power and Fournier knows that pretty well. He needs to be on his feet and get tired. He plans to contain his power and will avoid being bullied by the professional.

David Haye and Holyfield are fighting in the main event against Vitor Belfort, and are the only two boxers to win world titles at heavyweight and cruiserweight.

Fournier had won all of his 9 bouts but has never fought against an experienced athlete. The last win that he collected was against a musician who was in the ring for the first time.
