The groundbreaking of the Obama Presidential Center will be looked after by Barack Obama, the former President of the United States of America, and his wife, Michelle Obama, the former first lady. It is to take place in the coming week. This information was given by the couple in one of their videos. The ceremony to commemorate the event will be held on the 28th of September that falls on a Tuesday. 

Obama Presidential Center Details

The commemorative ceremony of the groundbreaking of the Obama Presidential Center will be attended by J.B. Pritzker, the governor of the state of Illinois, and Lori Lightfoot, the mayor of Chicago. It will be a small event. The event is to be organized in the neighborhood of the South Side of the city of Chicago, in the area of Jackson Park. all this information was given by the spokeswoman of the Obamas. It has also been stated that the opening ceremony of the Obama Presidential Center that will be held on coming Tuesday, is going to be live-streamed. 

The former Democratic President of the country gave a statement on the event. He stated that both he and his wife, Michelle Obama, were absolutely excited for the upcoming center. He also mentioned that he loved the community in which the center was coming up. Just a day before the official groundbreaking event, former President Barack Obama will extend his invitation to a few officials.

They include some officials from the days of his administration as well as people who have been a part of his presidential campaigns. The live event of the Obama Presidential Center will be hosted by the former campaign manager of Barack Obama, David Plouffe, and one of his advisers, Valerie Jarrett.
