Dua Lipa, the 27-year-old “Levitating” singer was wearing a transparent glittery mesh gown from head to heel at the “Barbie” premiere in Los Angeles on July 9. She was shining at the party in her gorgeous outfit worn over a white undergarment. She is heard to be playing Mermaid Barbie in the upcoming Barbie movie by Greta Gerwig.
Dua Lipa’s Shimmery Look At The Party
She paired up her look with silver, pointed hills and parted her hair in the middle. Dua Lipa kept it simple by just wearing a pair of hoop earrings and a slick glittering necklace as the jewelry. Even though she didn’t wear pink it wasn’t any less from radiating “Barbiecore energy” as she managed to have it included in her manicure which had the tinge of bubble gum shade.
Dua Lipa sang “Dance the Night” at the party, and was announced to be playing Mermaid Barbie in the next movie. Following the premiere night, she posted her photos in that outfit on Instagram, which was overflowed with an abundance of comments and public enthusiasm. Her fans commented “gorgeous”, “stunning” etc on her post. One of them also wrote, “Dua you slay”.
However, she was not the only one who did not cover herself with pink at the Premiere. Margot Robbie playing the role of Barbie in the next film was spotted wearing a black dress with a flowy silhouette paying tribute to one of the famous Mattel doll’s iconic looks from 1961.
In contrast, Ryan Gosling exhibited his inner Ken by wearing a neutral color suit and a baby pink shirt. He also wore a neckpiece with an ‘E’ shaped pendant. He told Entertainment Tonight that it is a sweet love gesture to his old flame, Era Mendes. He also shared that his daughters Esmeralda and Amada helped him get ready for the part of Ken. He reveals his daughters’ inspiration in shaping this role in him. “Barbie” releases in theatres on July 21.
