Elizabeth Warren Thanks for Being Vaccinated

Along with Elizabeth Warren, Cory Booker tweeted that it was definitely quite shocking news for him that he had tested positive for COVID-19 after he felt the first wave of the symptoms on Saturday. He also confirmed that his symptoms were comparatively mild and similar to Warren, he was thankful to have been vaccinated- else his situation could have been extremely bad.

The senators, heralding from  New Jersey and Massachusetts, have been extremely vocal about the advantage and the propagation of the COVID-19 vaccine in Washington- especially with Warren losing her older brother back in 2020.

Elizabeth Warren and Cory Booker join John Hickenlooper and Lindsay Graham as the other Democrat senators who have tested positive for the virus, despite being completely vaccinated. The positive tests for Booker and Warren come amidst a rise of COVID-19 cases across the country with Dr. Anthony Fauci, the leading expert in the country on infectious diseases, stating that the omicron variant has a rather extraordinary capability of spreading.

Along with infecting Elizabeth Warren, Cory Booker, and others, Omicron has been identified in close to 43 states in the country, and 89 countries, according to the WHO.
